4 questions that will completely change how you achieve your goals

Hope your year has been fabulous so far.

If you need to turn up the heat on your goals, here are four questions to ask yourself that may completely change the game for you.

I led a hike last week using these and was astonished by the results one person got – her intention was to find an easy way to earn income while becoming a mother. She was stuck thinking entrepreneurship was the only way – and that sounded hard.

By the end of the walk, she realized she had a property she could sell to give herself runway. Was the property always there? Yep. Had she ever thought about leveraging it for this purpose? She had not. It may seem obvious in hindsight, but we all miss great ideas if we don’t intentionally broaden our thinking. (and yes, I wish earning an income could be this easy for all of us 😉

Here are the four questions I asked – I recommend walking outdoors while you ponder these, and do it with a friend if you can. Walking helps your mind relax and wander, which makes it easier for fresh insights and unexpected connections to surface. Ready??? Here they are:

  1. What do you need to say no to be most successful? Examples: Overcommitting, new projects, ruminating, skipping workouts in favor of ‘more productivity.’
  2. What action do you least want to take towards your goal? Often, we resist the highest leverage action because it feels hard or scary. Just do it instead, and you may see a leap in your progress.
  3. Where are you hiding? Examples: People-pleasing, avoiding outreach, being vague when telling people what you need.
  4. What’s the fastest way to the result? Brainstorm at least 3 options, but use AI to find more! This is one way to work smarter, not harder. Simply find the most efficient route – it’s probably not the path you started with.

That’s it! Take a walk and try it today. Please let me know how it goes if you do!

All my best,

Kit
